Q: Are there minimum and maximum guest counts?
A: No, although you must meet a minimum food expenditure of $1000.00 for any event. ($750 - Mon -Thurs.)

Q: Is there a deposit to secure our services?
A: Yes, a deposit of $250.00 (which is completely non-refundable for any reson) is required to secure our services. This deposit is subtacted from your final bill.

Q: Do I need to pre-order a menu?
A: Yes, all menu choices and details of your event are due ten days prior.

Q: Is there an extra charge for linens?
A: No, linens for your event are included.

Q: Is there a time limit for our services?
A: Yes, we will be on-site for a maximum of four (4) hours. Typically one (1) prior to the event for set-up, two (2) hours for food service and one (1) hour for break-down. You will be billed accordingly for any time going over four (4) hours.

Q: Is there an extra charge for plateware or utensils?
A: No, plateware and silverware is included 

Q: When do I pay the balance due?
A: The final balance of your event is due three (3) days prior to the event. Cash, credit card or bank check is acceptable.

Q: Are sales tax or any other charges included in the menu prices?
A: No, all function prices are subject to a 6.25% Massachusetts Meals Tax, a .75% Local Tax, and a 5% banquet incidental charge.

Q: Is staff included for my event?
A: Yes, the amount of staff for your event depends on the type of menu and number of guest you choose. Waitstaff gratuities are not included on your bill however we suggest 15-22% gratuity be given to our staff.

Q: Are tables & chairs included?
A: Yes, any tables and chairs are provided that you need.

Q: When do i need to guarantee a final number of guests?
A: A final number of guest is due no later than three (3) days prior to your event. Your guest count MAY NOT be reduced for any reason after your final count is given.

Q: I would like to have my event catered by the Abington Ale House, what's next?
A: You should contact us at (781) 871-6811 or come in and see us. Either way, please ask for a member of management and we will be delighted to help you plan your event
